Director of Major Gifts (3a/3b)
OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Executive Director of Development within the Carlson School of Management, the Director of Development position is a front-line fundraiser responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects capable of making major gifts, currently defined as $50,000 and above. The Director of Development is expected to devote 80% of work time to major gift fundraising activities and 20% of work time to related responsibilities. This position requires the ability to travel, at times with overnight stays, and by varying modes of transportation.
