Ojibwe Research Professional
Position OverviewThis position is for a research professional who will work closely with the Editor of the Ojibwe People’s Dictionary to transcribe, annotate, and edit audio for inclusion in the Ojibwe People’s Dictionary, as well as documenting and editing materials for the Dictionary website. The successful applicant will bring strong knowledge of Anishinaabemowin, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written communication skills, but will receive training in linguistic transcription and data processing. The research professional will also be trained to participate in linguistic fieldwork interviews with Ojibwe speakers that take place on the Twin Cities Campus.
