Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
The Administrative Coordinator works independently and in partnership with the Project Manager and staff for the Department of Radiology to provide programmatic support, and process maintenance in our clinical, research and academic programs. • Responsible for overseeing departmental operations and maintaining policies and procedures including: o Space and facilities – serve as Department Facilities Representative and move coordinator o Supplies o Security/keys o IT purchases and program o A/V and conference room management o File storage o U card access management o Radiation badges
• Oversee, coordinate and maintain the processes related to the following areas: o Departmental communications content including quarterly newsletter, website and social media, serve as department liaison to Medical School Communications team o Research support including the launch of the Center for Radiology Research Resources (marketing, intake process, protocol review committee, service agreements, training) o Qgenda (physician scheduling software) documentation and analytics for the department o Reporting and analytics surrounding productivity, publication, clinical, and grant metrics for the department o Departmental organization charts and role descriptions o Other duties as assigned by Project Manager and Department Administrator
Salary Range $20.38 - $30.43
Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma/GED and five years related experience. Coursework in related field may substitute for some years of experience. • Demonstrated ability to assist with multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines • Demonstrated strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to manage work amidst changing priorities and ambiguous environment • Experience comparing, verifying, and reconciling data to assess progress in meeting departmental objectives • Strong excel and/or data analytic skills as well as process tracking (ie Smartsheets) • Experience with formal writing as well as website content development and social media posting Preferred Qualifications: • Work experience in a higher education setting • Experience managing multiple complex tasks • Demonstrated ability to work across varying levels of an organization (i.e. leadership, colleagues, and customers) • Experience working in a health care setting • Experience and/or commitment to working with a diverse group of people • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently • Ability to make sound decisions, set priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and interruptions • Successful candidate must be creative and attentive to business and faculty needs, perform at a high level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality • Demonstrative application of sound business principles
