The Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (BMT/CT), University of Minnesota, is seeking an academic pediatric hematologist/oncologist with training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. The Division invites applications for an Academic track position, with a focus in clinical care and clinical research, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The ideal candidate will have translational research experience and clinical expertise in the treatment and research related to blood and marrow transplantation & cellular therapy, as well as independently obtained research funding. The Division is seeking an individual with a strong interest in clinical research in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy who can thrive the team-based environment of the University of Minnesota Medical School.
This individual will assume a key leadership role in the development, implementation, and supervision of innovative research projects and clinical trials in the treatment of treatment of malignant and non-malignant disorders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate with research team members involved in support of critical research goals. This individual will also participate in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care of patients at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital as well as teaching of medical students and post-graduate trainees.

• M.D. and Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology • Extensive training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy • Demonstrated excellence in patient care • Demonstrated excellence in clinical trial development and implementation • Demonstrated enthusiasm for medical education and strong teaching skills • Must have or be able to attain a medical license in the state of Minnesota • Must be able to pass credentialing
