The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) is seeking an adjunct faculty member to join its Accounting Department. The successful applicant will have a Master’s degree in accounting or related discipline. The applicant will contribute to the development and teaching of Accounting courses offered during the day on the Duluth campus. Adjunct faculty are hired on a course by course basis as needs arise.
The applicant will be available to develop and teach courses for the Accounting BA program. Adjunct is needed for ACC 4450 Advanced Accounting Fall 2021 (9/7/2021 – 12/22/2021.) The course is offered 8:00 – 9:40 am, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The adjunct may be asked to teach other accounting classes as needs arise.
Required Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline - Availability to teach during the day - Support a culture of inclusive excellence
Preferred Qualifications: - CPA - Professional experience in the accounting field - Experience teaching undergraduate classes - Experience using Brightspace
