The Office of Medical Education (OME) is looking for a Temporary Administrative Coordinator to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and executive assistant tasks. This position provides executive-level support to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and supports the Accreditation, Compliance, and Quality Improvement (CQI) unit at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Support includes managing complex calendars, communicating with faculty, students, staff, and medical school leadership; scheduling travel and creating itineraries, tracking expenses and submitting reimbursements, serving as liaison (organize, manage, facilitate) to standing committees, preparing annual reports and contributing to department projects. As the Accreditation and CQI coordinator, this individual will also be responsible for assisting the Accreditation team in preparing, documenting, and submitting materials to the national accreditation body (LCME). The position reports to the OME Administrative Supervisor and is part of a larger administrative team.
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials
High school diploma/GED and three years of related experience.
Coursework in a related field may substitute for some years of experience
Demonstrated experience handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks with a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer service experience
High proficiency level in Google Suite including Gmail, Google Cal, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
Highly organized with attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
