Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
The Developmental Cognition and Neuroimaging Lab is seeking a research professional to assist with the development of web-based tools that integrate neuroimaging databases with analytic platforms and data portals.
A successful applicant must be able to work well independently, also in a team, and to communicate clearly in a collaborative environment with a diverse range of experiences and disciplines. She/he/they should also have familiarity with frontend web development tools/languages (e.g. React), and databases (e.g. MongoDB, SQL).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Creating, optimizing, and maintaining various code for databases and web-development (45%) - Coordinating with NOUS imaging to integrate databases with ongoing data collection (20%) - Developing interfaces that bridge neuroimaging databases with analytic web-based portals (25%) - Laboratory duties; conforming to the practices and standards established in the lab. Attending lab and computing meetings and other general lab duties (10%)

Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field - Experience with functional or structural brain imaging (i.e. MRI imaging) data management software like XNAT, building medical database software like EPIC, or genomic database construction like UCSC Genome Browser - Experience in managing software projects in a team using version control - Strong background in web development - Proficiency in react, python and/or R
