The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) invites enthusiastic and effective instructors to apply for a part-time lecturer position available in the 2020/2021 academic year in the following areas: computer engineering, communications, robotics, controls, intelligent systems, machine learning, signal/image processing and computer vision. Students also complete a two-quarter senior design project in their final year, so the ability to advise such projects will be an added plus.
A minimum MSEE or MS degree in computer engineering, computer science and one year of substantial teaching experience. A Ph.D. degree in any engineering field or Physics is a preferred qualification.

Salary for fall begins October 1, 2020 and ends December 31, 2020; winter begins January 1, 2021 and ends March 31, 2021; spring quarter begins April 1, 2021 and ends June 30, 2021; the academic service period for fall quarter begins September 28, 2020 through December 18, 2020; winter quarter begins January 4, 2021 through March19, 2021; spring begins March 24, 2021 and ends June 11, 2021. Starting salary will be $68,692 based on a full time appointment. Lecturer appointments are eligible for renewal depending on need, funding, and performance.
