15% Maintain an organized work space and environment, ensure the lab is up to date with trainings and follows IACUC protocols and safety certifications.
85% Plan and perform experiments, analyze data, assist in writing manuscripts and grants, Help graduate student trainees and research technicians with research projects, meet weekly with PI to discuss data and future plans.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology or other related field.
Individuals should have prior experience with rat self-administration procedures, surgical techniques, operant behavioral testing (knowledge of Med Associates and MedPC programming is preferred), and advanced statistical training (including multivariate analyses, generalized linear models, and cluster-based approaches).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Matlab, Python, or R.
