Central Lakes College is hiring an administrator that will cultivate CLC's culture of caring and our strategic pillars: inspires learning, advances innovation and transforming lives, for our Liberal Arts and Sciences Division located on the Brainerd Campus. The Dean will assist in leading the college's efforts to promote a relationship-based culture that respects and honors the talents of the employees of CLC. The Dean will provide leadership and supervision for 27-Liberal Arts departments, 2-technical programs, along with OER, e-learning, the tutoring center, library, Honors program, theatre, music and performing arts, study abroad program and the transfer pathway program. Working under the direction of the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, the Dean will be the key contact for the Adult Basic Education, and the Developmental Education and serve on the Academic Affairs and Standards Council.

Master's degree required from an accredited college or university.
Three years of teaching experience.
One year of supervisory and leadership experience.
Demonstrated commitment to the success of culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse students, faculty and staff.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills including public speaking to effectively communicate with various stakeholder groups.
Ability to motivate employees to work towards department and college goals.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of higher ed topics and trends.
Earned Doctorate Degree
Human relation skills to deal effectively with diverse internal and external clientele.
Leadership experience working in a collective bargaining environment.
Experience in strategic planning and budget development.
Excellent listening, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Effective project management skills and the ability to analyze, interpret and present data.
Exercise sound judgement and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills-individually and through teams.
