Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Duties/responsibilities: - performing high level experimental, theoretical, and numerical research and data analysis (50%) - presentation, publication, and proposal preparation (20%) - mentoring PhD and MSME students or technicians (15%) - laboratory organization and management (15%)
About the position: The Biopreservation Core Resource (BIoCoR) at the University of Minnesota, has an open post-doctoral research position (www.biocor.umn.edu). The post-doctoral associate will work with Prof. Allison Hubel, Director and CSO of BlueCube Bio (www.bluecubebio.com).
Required qualifications: Ph.D. in Biomedical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, MDs or MD-PhDs with relevant skills. Experience with cell culture including functional assays. Strong writing skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with cryopreserving cells or tissues. Experience with spectroscopy.
