The University of Minnesota’s Program in Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed physical therapist interested in participating in our Integument course offered in the Summer Semester of 2021. The person filling this role will coordinate the course and offer instruction in wound care/management from the perspective of a generalist or therapist practicing in a community setting. They will work with existing faculty to provide education in a broad scope of integumentary physical therapy, including, but not limited to, burn and lymphedema management.
Required Qualifications: Doctoral/advanced degree in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy License in the state of MN and a minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience. Desired skills include wound care expertise, excellent organization skills, experience with teaching/presentations and a commitment to entry-level physical therapist education. There is potential to offer instruction in the area of cancer rehabilitation and for involvement in other parts of the curriculum.
