The Division of Neonatology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full time board certified/eligible Neonatal-Perinatal Physician at the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor on the Academic Track. We seek a candidate with demonstrated clinical experience in newborn intensive care with research interests in the fields of neonatal nutrition, neurodevelopment, hematology, pulmonology/resuscitation, global neonatology, ethics, or infection/immunology.
The successful candidate will primarily serve the Level IV NICUs located in the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and Children’s Healthcare (Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses) and assist with bridging research efforts between the two institutions.
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and a Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship training program.
Board eligible/certified in Neonatal – Perinatal Medicine
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
Demonstrated clinical experience in newborn intensive care and research interests in the above-mentioned fields.
Able to get medical license in both Minnesota and Wisconsin
