Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
70% Perform research in the lab with guidance from PI. Major duties include, genotyping of mice, qPCR, ELISA, Western Blot etc of molecules of interest to support ongoing research. Develop novel research protocols as needed.
20% Lab management. Including purchase orders, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, inventory of tissue biobank etc.
10% Attend lab meetings and dept scientific events. Prepare presentation for lab meetings and local meetings as required. Help PI with figures and methods for publications or grant proposals.
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
BA/BS or a combination of related work experience to equal 4 years
Experience in murine and primate (human and/or non human) tissues for molecular analyses.
Experience with PBMC isolation and ACE2 signaling.
Experience with lab management and purchase orders
At least one year in a research lab
