The Department of Chemistry invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach Introductory General Chemistry lecture and lab sections as well as Organic Chemistry Lab sections on the Minneapolis campus in the Fall 2020 semester.
The Introductory General Chemistry class will meet in a live-remote format three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The labs plan to meet in both face-to-face and live-remote formats, once per week for three hours. Instructors are expected to respond to student inquiries via email and hold regular office hours.
This is a union position which is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU Local 284.
Successful candidates will have a PhD in chemistry
Teaching experience preferred.
