The Division of Pediatric Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor on the academic track. Faculty on the clinical scholar track are physician clinician-educators with significant engagement in scholarly activities, which may include clinical research, teaching applied medical science or publicly engaged scholarship. The selected candidate will be involved in direct patient care and the training and teaching of medical students, pediatric house officers and renal fellows, in addition to scholarly activities.
Required Qualifications: • M.D. and board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Peds Nephrology • Eligible for MN license. Will accept applicants currently in final year of pediatric nephrology fellowships. • Candidates should have a record of scholarly accomplishment, excellence in clinical pediatric nephrology, and interest and ability in teaching.
