Assistant or Associate Professor, Academic or Master Clinician Track, dependent upon candidate
The Section of Critical Care/ Acute Care Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time clinical scholar track position as an Assistant or Associate Professor, dependent on qualifications. Qualified candidates must have an M.D. degree and be board certified/eligible in surgery and critical care. Caseload will include trauma, surgical critical care, and general surgery cases. Successful candidates will have strong technical skills in general surgery. Responsibilities include (1) participating as the attending staff in one or more of the intensive care units associated with the Division; (2) participation as a surgeon or intensivist at one of our partner facilities, (3) teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; and (4) full participation in departmental activities.
