The Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, term faculty position in the area of Accounting at the Instructor/Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2020. The individual hired for this position will have responsibilities in teaching and service. The school’s current teaching need is in the area of Accounting at the undergraduate level. Currently, the teaching load is seven sections (21 credits) per academic year. The individual hired for this position will be responsible for teaching required and elective Accounting courses. Responsibilities also include advising undergraduate students, working with student organizations and engaging in service activities with colleagues, the department, School, campus, community and professional organizations.
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with coursework in Accounting from an AACSB-International accredited institution or a major national university.
If the applicant has a Master’s degree and is not ABD or Ph.D. in the Accounting discipline, the applicant must have relevant work experience that demonstrates active involvement in his/her discipline since the time of the Master’s degree completion.
