The University of Minnesota, Department of Pediatrics, seeks candidates for a faculty position in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health. The rank of this position will be at the Assistant Professor level, on the Academic Track.
This is a 100% full time position, with 50% time devoted to clinical duties serving patients in a Federally Qualified Health Center. The physician faculty will also serve as Medical Director and Principal Investigator of a University program that provides HIV case management services, HIV prevention services, and sexual health education for young people. The faculty member is expected to pursue scholarly work that advances health equity for populations of vulnerable children, youth, and families. The faculty member will also have opportunities to participate in medical education.
Essential qualifications include M.D. or D.O. degree, Medicine-Pediatrics Residency, Board Certification in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, and fellowship training in Academic General Pediatrics or Primary Care Research. Experience in medical education and curriculum development preferred.
