The University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) Medical School, Department of Pediatrics, seeks candidates for a full-time faculty position in its Division of Genetics and Metabolism. This research-intensive position will be at the Assistant Professor rank on the Tenure-Track. The qualified candidate will provide care for children and adults with genetic conditions and inborn errors of metabolism in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As an academic pediatric department, opportunities exist for clinical teaching of medical students and residents. Clinical research opportunities are also available.
Candidates must be medical geneticists with the ability to provide services in clinical genetics and inborn errors of metabolism. Candidates for the position must have ABMG active candidate status or certification in clinical genetics and/or medical biochemical genetics and be active in maintenance of certification.
