The candidate is expected to work in a collaborative manner in a multi-disciplinary service line structure. The successful applicant will be expected to enhance the existing neurosurgery program at the University of Minnesota by providing outstanding clinical care, participating in resident education, and developing new clinical initiatives. Level of appointment and compensation are dependent on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
Practice sites for this position include the University of Minnesota Medical Center, the M Health Fairview Southdale campus, and the M Health Fairview HealthEast campus. The Department of Neurosurgery supports a fully ACGME accredited residency training program in Neurological Surgery. All faculty members participate in residency education.
The University of Minnesota Department of Neurosurgery seek a board eligible or board certified neurosurgeon with training in spinal neurosurgery. This position recruits at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. Candidates should have expertise in the treatment of spinal disorders, including complex spine trauma, adult deformity, and degenerative disorders.
