Oversee reservation and event management for programming developed by collegiate units and student organizations.
Collaborate with Innovation Outreach and Program Specialist and Innovation Lead to develop and implement procedures and directions for the space.
Manage LibCal reservation system for room reservations and meetings.
Supervise student workers to execute programming and events.
Facilitate events through coordination with Libraries Facilities staff, other Libraries staff, and external vendors.
Manage student privileges and access.
Prioritize use of space according to guidelines and input from stakeholders.
Maintain a welcoming space that promotes a safe and efficient working environment.
High school diploma/GED and four years of related experience. Education may be substituted for some of the years of experience.
1+ years of prior event management experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working on project or event management teams
Supervisory experience, which could include student employees or leading student groups.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in informal and formal teaming arrangements with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
3+ years of prior event management experience
Undergraduate experiences in innovation (including but not limited to engineering, business, design, or science) or demonstrated interest in innovation and/or innovation spaces
Experience working in higher education
Building/space management experience
Experience supervising student employees
