The Photographer / Videographer is an essential member of the College Communications team, working to tell the Carleton story through the creation and distribution of authentic and compelling photos and videos. This position collaborates with staff, faculty, and students from all parts of the college community to advance the college’s strategic communication goals.
The Photographer / Videographer will capture, edit, distribute, and archive still photography for college events, communications projects, and news and social media channels. This position will also administer the college’s digital asset management system, work with contract photographers and videographers, and train, supervise, and mentor student workers. This is a full-time year-round position.

The successful candidate has at least two years of professional experience in videography and photography. Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Must be creative, deadline-driven, organized, and be able to work independently and in teams. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and experience producing videos or photos in a higher education setting.
