The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Iowa State University is accepting applications for an Online Course Designer.
The Designer will provide technical assistance with online courses offered through theÂ ISUÂ Dietetic Internship (DI) and Masterâs of Professional Practice in Dietetics (MPP-D). The Designer will assist faculty by providing technical expertise on effective delivery approaches for online courses, creation of curricular materials, and management of online course content via theÂ ISUÂ learning management system Canvas. The Designer will provide instructional design services and training for faculty. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to outcomes assessment related to departmental and accreditation requirements and development of online application forms.
It is expected the successful candidate will have working knowledge of current trends in instructional pedagogy and current distance education technology.
