This position exists to provide campus strategic leadership and coordination for the LSC Perkins programs in the areas of program planning and evaluation, accountability, and fiscal matters. This position is also responsible for developing Programs of Study (POS) between LSC and area Consortium schools. In conjunction with Consortium schools, the Coordinator develops and implements articulation agreements and Career & Technical Education programs that fit the needs of the regional workforce.
The position does not work six weeks during the summer and two weeks over the holiday break. Position is full-time benefit eligible.
Knowledge of higher or secondary education systems
Experience providing outreach to business and industry
Familiarity with labor market and career information
Strong Interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Social Media and Marketing
Demonstrated self-starter with strong organizational and administrative skills
Project management or events planning experience
Knowledge of workforce development
Exceptional human relations and customer service skills including the ability to work with diverse populations
Proven record of partnership development
Ability to work independently
Ability to make presentations to groups of people
