The position is part of the IT Applications Services team, and is responsible for site, workflow, and frontend application development and technology services with a primary focus on the SharePoint environment.
SharePoint site development and maintenance
Designing business processes using workflow tools (such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Flow, or ProcessMaker)
Developing single-page applications
Providing client technical support and troubleshooting of end user problems
Telework requirements (for candidates choosing to work remotely)
Must be located within 6 hours of the WCU campus in Cullowhee, NC.
Must be able to come to campus for periodic, scheduled campus visits (regular quarterly status meetings and occasional project meetings).
Must be able to come to campus as needed for emergency meetings (with 24-hour notice)
Most meetings will be conducted via video conference when possible so conference capabilities must be available from remote work location.
A Master's degree and 2 to 4 years' experience or a Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years' experience.
