This position assists in providing leadership, direction, training, and customer service standards to all levels of staffing that support campus Café Programs, Retail Cafes and Express Markets, spread across the large campus footprint. This position plays a key role in representing CWU Dining and is responsible for ensuring that the campus community and guests that patronize the assigned dining operations are provided high quality, nutritious, safe, appealing and properly flavored food and beverages at a fair price and with exceptional customer service.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.
Minimum of three years of management experience in the food service industry.
OR applicable combination of education and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Additional Conditions of Employment
Possession of a Washington State Food Handler’s Card.
ServSafe certification within three months of hire and maintenance of certification thereafter.
Maintenance of a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
Experience in an area of college or university.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project.
