Provides professional research and technical support for the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research in the areas of sponsored grants management, Pars System, as well as overall center administrative guidance on day-to-day issues. This position will work closely within the CMRR’s administrative hub to provide expertise to support to the faculty, researchers, and staff within the building on a variety of duties and responsibilities.
Position will primarily work independently with day to day activities; and report to the Senior Office Supervisor at CMRR.

50% - Sponsored Grants Management
Work with Various Faculty in the submission of Research Grants, both Sponsored and Non-Sponsored.
Work with Faculty to provide annual reporting to Funding Agency(s)
Coordinates the participation of faculty in grant reporting, including: working in the reporting tools, reaching out and working with Sub-contractors included in the grant and following through that reports are done correctly and submitted in a timely manner.
20% Work on the development, organization, and ongoing update of Research Documents in Google Team; including Biosketches, Other Support, Grant documents,
Collects and tracks grant annual reporting within CMRR.
Work with PI’s to ensure that all program activities are developed and reported on within progress reports and grant submissions.
25% - Administration of Internal Project Access Request System (PARS)
Coordinates implementation of PI’s to use MR resources within CMRR internal calendar and billing system; which ties back with sponsored grant monitoring for end dates and budgetary compliance
5% - Back up support for other administrative areas of the CMRR, along with other duties as assigned

BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years; applied knowledge and skill to a recurring task or activity with emphasis typically on precision and timeliness of execution.
Experience with initiating, managing, submitting, and administering grants within EGMS (Electronic Grants Management System).
Candidate should demonstrate ability to operate independently under general supervision.
Candidate should be able to solve complex problems to keep the research study in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience working with principal investigators and grants directors within CMRR.
Experience participating in program and administrative planning for grants in the areas of research, preparation, and submission.
Candidate having experience working in a multi-facet research environment, working with many different departments within the University and Institutions across the country and world.
