The Supply Chain Financial Analyst will provide support for IT finance, inventory, purchasing, journal entries, and asset lifecycle.
Salary range: $47,000 - $54,000 (depends on qualifications)

Provide financial support for the purchasing team including inventory usage, price analysis, and logistics coordination.
Demonstrate and drive a culture of continuous improvement in finance processes including analyzing operational inefficiencies and forecasting inventory.
Assist in departmental projects by providing operational support for purchasing, inventory, and logistics.
Maintain relationships with vendors and distributors to assist in the procurement of materials
Assist the asset manager with tracking and monitoring IT asset life cycles (acquisition, receipt, deployment, add/changes, retirement, disposal)
Demonstrate supply chain knowledge and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
Provide annual, quarterly, and monthly usage reports on infrastructure and computer hardware inventory.
Prepare departmental journal entries.
Purchase goods and services for the department in compliance with University policy, using EFS to create requisitions and also using a purchasing card.
Use EFS queries, UM Analytics, ServiceNow and other tools as necessary to extract user and purchase data into Excel.
Lead, train and inform warehouse receiving staff

BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or a related field OR a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years
Proficiency with Excel including macros, formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.
Experience reconciling data in multiple systems and running queries and reports.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to perform superior service, reflecting a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others, regardless of their position or department.

Six Sigma Certification Yellow Belt (CSSYB) or higher
