The Administrative Assistant for the Center for Civic and Community Engagement (CCCE) will oversee the day-to-day operations of the office including calendaring for the office, opening, distributing, and prioritizing mail; answering, screening, and directing calls and inquires. The Administrative Assistant will meet regularly with the Interim Director to discuss current department business; attend meetings, draft agendas, take and distribute minutes; track action items and deadlines.
This is a part-time, 40 hours per week (0.51 FTE), temporary 6-month, benefit eligible position.

The successful candidate possess a high school education with five or more years of related experience. Must be skilled in word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, Web editing, and internet searches. Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree.
