Responsibilities include (1) participating as the attending staff in one or more of the intensive care units associated with the Division; (2) participation as a surgeon or intensivist at one of our partner facilities, (3) teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; and (4) full participation in departmental activities.

Faculty Position Division of General Surgery Section of Critical Care/ Acute Care Surgery
The Section of Critical Care/ Acute Care Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time clinical scholar (Master Clinician Track) position as an Assistant or Associate Professor, dependent on qualifications. Qualified candidates must have an M.D. degree and be board certified/eligible in surgery and critical care. Caseload will include trauma, surgical critical care, and general surgery cases.
Successful candidates will have strong technical skills in general surgery.
