TheIT Analyst II develops and maintains custom applications and reports to meetthe customers' needs, based upon User Requirements. This position also develops and maintainsinterfaces for third-party applications and for supporting othercommercially-developed applications and UTHSC's Student Information System, Ellucian'sBanner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides campus users with systems analysis, design, development, implementation and support of the systems development lifecycle, and software application development.
Installs, tests, enhances, and monitors custom applications.
Maintains the workflow and completion of trouble tickets through the UTHSC ITS approved system.
Develops various projects based on campus needs.
Integrates various third-party software packages with existing campus software.
Performs application and interface testing, as appropriate when applications are developed or upgrades/enhancements are performed.
Collaborates with Business Analysts to develop user training, manuals and system documentation to ensure smooth transition to a production environment.
Utilizes new technology to enhance the student, faculty, and staff experience.
Tests and demos applications to ensure readiness. Performs User Requirement testing and User Acceptance testing.
Follows standardization processes, such as the Change Management Process and New Request Process, to ensure effective and efficient workflow.
