The Department of Medicine, University of Minnesota, invites applications to join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Division at the academic rank of Tenured Professor on our Advanced Endoscopy team. The incumbent should have a national reputation in the field, excellent clinical skills, and expertise in a specific area related to advanced endoscopy. Desired candidates will participate in patient care, the educational activities of the division, and establish an academic scholarship focus. The incumbent is also expected to advise and mentor junior faculty, fellows, and students; publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals; participate in scientific meetings and other professional activities; and serve on department, college, and UMN committees as appropriate.
Our current team includes 18 gastroenterologists and hepatologists, 8 NPs, and 13 University of MN fellows in an expanding division. Required Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent plus a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology. Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota. Must have clinical experience and a history of funded research or high-impact publications commensurate to a Tenured Academic Professor.
