The ITCP, through teaching, training, and policy reform efforts, promotes the development of best practices in child protection. By teaching and advocating for trauma-informed legal practices, the ITCP works to break the cycle of trauma and ensure better legal outcomes for children and their families. In collaboration with the ITCP team, the Program Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Institute and serves as the main point of contact for students, faculty, adjuncts, alumni, advisory board members, outside partners and community organizations. This position will be responsible for providing a variety of support to the overall operations of the Institute and specifically to trainings and events including: coordinating logistics, registrations, catering, program materials, room reservations, schedules, and communications; effectively executing event promotion strategies; and maintaining internal and external communication channels (i.e. web pages and social media).
Qualifications: bachelor’s degree required; 3-5 years administrative experience however, a combination of education and experience may be considered. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: the ability to work independently and problem solve; strong time management and prioritization skills; the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and continually reevaluate priorities; exceptional organizational, customer service, and communication skills; high level of initiative; and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Candidates must also have proficiency in MS Office applications and office technologies; social media; event management databases; and Word Press.
