Surgical Oncology – Division Chief The Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a dynamic, academically oriented, fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist, to lead the division of Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate will lead an active, collaborative clinical, teaching and research program consisting of 4 surgical oncologists and a PhD outcomes researcher. This position will be on the Tenure track at the title/rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
Minimum Qualifications: MD from an appropriately accredited institution Ability to secure a full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Minnesota Completion of an accredited Surgical Oncology fellowship
Preferred Qualifications: Track record of securing independent research funding in basic or translational research National or International recognition for outstanding contributions to the field of Surgical Oncology Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on providing world class cancer care Leadership or expertise in cutting edge surgical procedures
