The University of Minnesota Medical School and University of Minnesota Physicians seeks candidates for one Academic Track position. The position is an academic, non-tenure track appointment at the University of Minnesota Medical School and will be at the Assistant Professor rank.
The position(s) will serve the Level IV NICU located in the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, at two additional Level Ill NICUs located at Fairview Southdale and Fairview Ridges Hospitals, and at two Level II NICUs located at St. John’s Hospital and Woodwinds Hospital. The potential also exists for serving the NICUs at Children’s Minnesota through a contract. The NICU at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital is a comprehensive NICU that serves the five-state region and provides care for all acuity levels. Services include ECMO, kidney dialysis, general and cardiovascular surgery and hypothermia.
Qualified candidates must have an M.D. degree, and be Board eligible/certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
The successful applicant(s) will have clinical experience in the field of Neonatology and have experience in research and teaching in neonatology.
We seek a candidate with demonstrated clinical expertise in newborn intensive care and research interests in the fields of neonatal nutrition, neurodevelopment, hematology, pulmonology, global neonatology or infection/immunology.
