Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
- (80%) Recruits and conducting research sessions with participants in human behavioral research studies, maintains records of participant files, and lab supplies/equipment, and setting up and operating equipment used for physiological measurement with humans. Collection and processing of blood, saliva, and urine samples will be expected
- (10%) Data base management and data analysis; coauthors manuscripts for publication and presentations at professional meetings related to psychobiology of stress, pain, nicotine addiction and risk for heart disease
- (10%) Prepares protocol, amendments, and annual review reports with associated revised documents for submission to the U of MN Institutional Review Board (IRB) and other activities and responsibilities to support research, as needed.
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE TWIN CITIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (must be mentioned in application/resume): ·BA/BS or a combination of related education and experience to equal 4 years.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ·Experience writing IRB applications for human subjects research. ·Experience coordinating research study staff. ·Knowledge of statistical methodologies; experience conducting data analysis, proficient with software for data analysis. ·Experience in human subjects research planning, management, and data collection. ·Strong communication skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively
