The Department of Medicine is seeking an infectious disease specialist(s) in the clinical scholar track to serve as clinician/educator in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine at the University of Minnesota. The position will have both inpatient and outpatient duties at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview, including attending on the inpatient general infectious disease, transplant, and antibiotic management team services, and providing outpatient infectious disease clinic services in the Delaware Street Clinic. Educational responsibility includes teaching students and resident who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service and staffing the infectious diseases fellows' clinic. Requirements include an MD degree, board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine, and completed fellowship training in Infectious Diseases. Applicants for this position will demonstrate excellence in patient care, enthusiasm for medical education, and strong teaching skills.
