The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses. Some service and research activity may be expected.
The University of Minnesota, Morris Division of Social Sciences may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the 2018-2019 academic year (August 20, 2018 - May 19, 2019) in one or more of the following areas:
Anthropology, Economics, History, Management, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology
This position will report to the Division Chair of Social Science.
The qualifications for this position are as follows:
Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturer/Assistant Professor; MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred. Candidate must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field. Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment or other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
